(Senior) Global Inventory Controller (all genders welcome)

Aufgaben

We are seeking a dedicated Global Inventory Coordinator to oversee and optimize our inventory management processes. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, exceptional organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Your responsibilities

  • Global inventory coordination, considering maximum, minimum, and strategic stock level targets, and given budgets
  • Coordination of local entities in terms of inventory control
  • Monitoring inventory levels and replenishing stock as needed
  • Developing and implementing inventory control systems and practices
  • Monitoring material movements such as purchase orders, stock transfers, transfer orders, and other processing
  • Forecasting and monitoring supply and demand requirements to ensure stock availability and as a baseline for corporate reporting
  • Analyzing and reviewing ERP data to identify and resolve issues
  • Coordinating and performing regular stock checks, annual stock counts, and actively resolving any upcoming issues
  • Controlling all inventory-based transactions and movements (e.g., goods receipts) to support root cause analysis in case of incomplete or inaccurate bookings
  • Investigating and correcting discrepancies in reported quantities and locations of all inventory
  • Serving as the gatekeeper for the scrap and depreciation process, planning, and processing in ERP
  • Responsible for maintaining and exceeding global Inventory Record Accuracy targets
  • Supporting planning, selection, and execution of global logistics and warehouse activities (product flow, warehouse locations, and sizes)
  • Participation in global or regional projects

Profil

  • You possess a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business and Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field, coupled with extensive work experience, preferably within an international corporate environment
  • You demonstrate proficiency in product-based business environments
  • You prove expertise in inventory management methodologies, including ABC analysis and cycle counting
  • You mandatorily possess proficiency with MS Dynamics, SAP R/3, or equivalent ERP/MRP systems, substantiated by a track record of successful implementation
  • You have very good knowledge of MS Office and ideally PowerBI
  • You exhibit strong analytical skills and a commitment to structured problem-solving methodologies
  • You are skilled in developing strategic frameworks, negotiation, and synthesizing diverse viewpoints to formulate cohesive solutions
  • Your technical and economic proficiency enhances comprehension of stakeholder requirements across pre- and post-process stages
  • You have excellent communication skills in both English and German (C1-Level)
