Working Student (all genders welcome) with Master thesis „Sensor-based quality control for automated assembly of AWE cells"

Aufgaben

  • You get to know the gH2 Business and take a deep dive into the details of AWE cell assembly
  • You analyze the current assembly process and the associated measures for quality assurance
  • You develop concepts for sensor-based automated quality assurance for selected assembly process steps
  • You build prototypes and qualify these concepts experimentally at our NCAlab
  • You prepare the transfer of these innovative assembly concepts into commercial implementation

Profil

  • You are highly motivated to gain insights into the green hydrogen business
  • You are currently enrolled in a Master’s program in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or similar
  • You have knowledge and hands-on experience in implementing sensors and evaluating sensor data (e.g. microcontroller, industrial PLC, image processing software)
  • You have hands-on experience in building up prototypes (3D printing, metal/wood work)
  • You are familiar with a workshop environment and are able to use typical tools and machines
  • You also have good analytical and structuring skills, you develop fast alternative results
  • You have a self-reliant working style, are creative and reliable
  • You are a team player
  • You can react flexibly to changing conditions and adapt quickly

Please note that this position is divided in two phases:

  • Start: 01.01.2025
  • Phase 1 (3 months): intern
  • Phase 2 (6 months): master thesis
